Department of Social Service

KLU has a social Service wing which is used to channelizing the social service activities of the faculty, staff and the students.

It has adopted 5 near by villages and conducts activities like medical camps, literacy camps and educates the villagers regarding hygiene and health care, on a regular basis.

NSS wing of KLCE

• NSS KLCE Unit has been established in the
  year 2003 to extend the services of the Institute.
• The following activities are taken up:
• Blood donation camps
• Blood grouping camps
• Fund collection and distribution to poor children and old age homes
• Distribution of old clothes and free medicines to the people of slum areas
• Tree plantations
• AIDS awareness programmes
• Collection of relief fund when natural disasters occur
