VDUGS

We are the student wing of MUGH-VDUGS – a community of developers on .NET in and around Vijayawada. VDUGS is created, managed and driven entirely by members from the student community.

VDUGS aims at getting .NET onto the campuses by involving the members in a variety of activities like regular meets, technical sessions and inviting them to various Microsoft events and by facilitating interaction with Microsoft and other professionals.

Apart from being a part of an active online discussion board, VDUGS members also keep themselves busy through a variety of offline activities like technical events, contests, community initiatives, to name a few.

VDUGS is as much for those who are totally new to .NET as it is for more advanced developers. Feel free to discuss any technology related issues on this group and interact with each other and bond as a community! After all it's your group!

If you are a person brimming with passion for technology and are willing to go the extra mile, then this is where you have to be! Sign up and let’s change the world together!

Microsoft® .NET is more than a product or service. It's a revolution in the making. Its goal is to improve connectivity across networks, including the Internet, and make data more freely discoverable and interchangeable — even between computers running different operating systems. Soon Microsoft will introduce .NET products that will dramatically improve videoconferencing, expand mobile access to quality-rich information, and even impact the living room TV. The possibilities and potential of .NET are enormous.

The Student Chapter of the .NET User Group Vijayawada Student is a student group dedicated to promoting, improving, and developing interest in Microsoft .NET technologies among campus students of Vijayawada. The group promotes professional, social, and educational interaction among students interested in .NET or related technologies, by facilitating students' communication with academia, Microsoft and other corporate representatives. This group also encourages the student community to look at the non-developer side ,encouraging the students to look into the Microsoft office and also go through the various features that can be enjoyed in the future Microsoft operating systems. This group would encourage students to also take part in the SIG's (Special Interest Groups) which would enable them to learn the internal details of the SIG of there choice thus enabling them to move into the professional aspects that are essential for that particular industry.
