Accredited by NBA of AICTE for three years starting from academic year 2007-08. ECM is the first Department in India to get accreditation from NBA in an institution.
100% Placement was achieved during the last two academic years and the target is well in approach during present academic year (2008-09) also.
Active research is going on in the fields of Digital Image Watermarking, Embedded Systems, Software engineering, Data mining and Signal Processing by Eminent Professors of the department.
