OUR STRENGTH

• Accredited by NBA of AICTE for three years starting from academic year 2007-08. ECM is the first Department in India to get accreditation from NBA in an institution

• 100% Placement was achieved during the last three academic years and the target is well in approach during present academic year also

• Active research is going on in the fields of Digital Image Watermarking, Embedded Systems and Signal Processing by Eminent Professors of the department.

• An exclusive R&D Centre was established in the Department to take up research projects.

• An exclusive Embedded Systems Lab is established in the department for developing excellence in the area of Embedded Systems.

• The Department has organized two National level Workshops, four student Symposiums and one international conference.

• Faculty of the department could publish nearly 50 papers in different journals and conferences.

• Student’s success rate is above 95% during the previous five years.

• Two Faculty members from the department are project leaders for training students and implementing the concept of virtual industry on campus with Zensar technologies and 3i infotech Ltd.

OBJECTIVE

• To prepare students for successful careers both in software and hardware industry that meet the needs of Indian and Multinational companies and to prepare students for postgraduate programs in inter-disciplinary streams related to Electronics and Computers.
• To provide students with solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals which are necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems and also to prepare them for graduate studies.
• To train the students with good engineering skills so as to work as part of teams in Multi disciplinary projects.
• To develop the ability among students to synthesize data and technical concepts for application in product design.
