Brief Note on Day 1 (18th March) events of the 2nd CSI National Student Symposium at K L University on 18th & 19th, March 2011.
Brief Note on Day 2 (19th March) events of the 2nd CSI National Student Symposium at K L University on 18th & 19th, March 2011.
Prof. P. Thrimurty Coordinated and initiated the discussion. He said that for employability an all-round development is needed in the student. Technical, attitudinal and soft skills should be in right combination. The industry is wide open with lot of openings.
Wg. Cdr. M.Murugesan said that students should do the projects with dedication and concentration so that they can face the interviews very well .There are plenty of opportunities for well prepared students. They should also be responsible to the society.
Dr. K.Rajasekhara Rao opined that students should be exposed to all the core subjects.Soft skills should not be taught at the expense of core subjects.
Mr. Amarnath Rao said that students must develop multi faceted personality so that they can either go for a job or become an entrepreneur.
Mr. Sabapathy said that students should develop in technical as well as soft skills and strive to get research orientation. They should not worry about availability of jobs as they are available in plenty.
Mr. Raju said that students must analyze their own self in terms of weaknesses and strengths and attempt to convert the weaknesses to strengths.
Prof. Krishna Rao said that several jobs are available for all students and they are not advertised. Needy students should query all the industries in and around all the major cities so that they can get immediate employment.
Mr. P. Dandapani said that students should take any job that come their way and should not wait for a job in an MNC. This will enable them to be productive and active attrition.
In the ensuing discussion the following points were discussed and resolutions adapted:-
