Dr.SumanMaloji is presently working as Professor & Head-Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering & Vice Principal, KL College of Engineering, KLEF (K L Deemed to be University), Vijayawada.

He obtained B. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTUA in 2001, M. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTUH in 2006 and Ph. D. degree in 2014 from K L University. He has over 20+ years of experience in teaching, administration, and research. Dr. Suman Maloji also worked as Head- Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, KLEF during 2014-16.

Dr. Suman Maloji also held the university administration team positions-Assistant Registrar and Deputy Registrar, KLEF showcasing his in-depth knowledge of university regulations, practices, and conventions advocated by agencies such as the UGC, AICTE, NBA, etc.

As a member of the administrative team of the university, Dr. Suman Maloji was involved in the management of all major activities, like establishment matters, Campus management, statutory compliances and meetings, maintenance of administrative databases, activities associated with admissions, student graduation record-keeping, and various university events. He also acted as Convenor/Co-convener/Core Member for the conduction of university events like SAMYAK, SURABHI, Project Expos, and Convocation ceremonies.

He published more than 90 articles (Citations-412, h-Index-7,i-10 index-5) with reputed international journals like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer and indexed in Web of Science / Scopus databases. His research interests are Speech coding, Speech compression, speech, and speaker recognition. He had guided more than 20 M. Tech projects and several B. Tech projects. He is a recognized Research Supervisor of JNTU-Hyderabad, KL University. Currently, he is supervising 08 Research scholars. Four scholars got awarded Ph.D. under his guidance. He has 3 patents to his credit.

He is instrumental and played a key role in establishing the NI LABVIEW Center of Excellence at KL for training students in NI hardware integration for engineering applications. He received the Best teacher award from KL and the Best Administrator award from Elsevier SSRN. He is a life member of CSI and ISTE.
