Dr. M. Sandra Carmel Sophia

Dr. M. Sandra Carmel Sophia is currently working as Professor and Chairman of RPAC (Research Progression Assessment Committee) of English in Koneru Lakshmaiah deemed to be University, Vaddeswaram, Guntur. She pursued her higher education from Stella Maris College, Chennai. She obtained her M. Phil and Doctoral degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. She has authored a book titled Re-visioning the Historical Narratives of Peter Careyand edited one book on Contemporary Issues in Multidisciplinary Subjects. She has nine articles published in Scopus, three in WOS and twenty publications in UGC approved National and International journals. She has presented fifty papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences. She has been Resource Person delivering lectures and talks on a wide range of topics in different universities and colleges. Her specialization in teaching isLiterature, Linguistics, English Language Teaching, and Soft Skills.

Her inspiration and role models are her parents who inculcated and instilled in her the core human values of Love and Service and taught her the essence of diligence and labour. Dr. Sophia believes in imparting ‘Quality’ education directed towards social transformation of the individuals.
