Achievements of the Department

• Dr.G.Sunitha has got registered as a guide with Rayalaseema University and guiding two research scholars for Phd.
• To enhance research skills of faculty, AICTE sponsored Staff Development Programme on “Research Methodology and Statistical Analysis using SPSS” was conducted during March 17th - 30th, 2010.
• COLOZEUM, A National Level Workshop on HR and Marketing was organized on March 12th, 2010.
• The FLYWHEEL 2010 has been successfully organized with an impressive participation of 200 teams represented by 53 colleges comprising 500 participants on March 13th, 2010.
• The paper titled “Rural Marketing-Real Test of Marketing” presented by Mr.K.S.Venkateswara Kumar at International Conference on Indigenous Management Practices (ICIMP2009) organized by Annamalai University between 16th and 18th July 2009 was adjudged the best research paper
• Ten papers were published by Faculty in National and International Magazines/Journals

• 25 Papers were presented by the Faculty in National and International Conferences during the period 2009-10

Department Achievements 2008-09.

• Ms.K.HemaDivya was awarded with degree of M.Phil in Management by Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli.
• Mr.Venkateshwara kumar was awarded with degree of M.Phil in Commerce by Madhurikamaraj University,Tamil Nadu
• Six guest lectures from various areas have been organized by the department during the period of 2008-2009
• Students visited seven companies as apart of Industrial tour during the period of 2008-2009.

• A 2 day National level management meet has been organized by the department on 2nd and 3rd March 2009.
• 11 students have successfully completed premia certified professional foundation level program conducted by 3i-Infotech chennai during the month of January 2009.
