Department Of Computer Applications:

The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2004.The Department Of MCA is under the affiliation of Acharya Nagarjuna University till the Academic year 2008-09 .In 2009 KLCE has given the deemed University status and thus recognized as K L University. The department consists of erudite faculty who teach ‘How to think rather what to Think’. The department has good Library and Laboratory facilities with fully equipped Infrastructure and updated Software’s. The Faculty and students are actively involved in various Research Activities.

MISSION:

"The mission of the department is to create a centre of excellence aiming at the technical and professional competency by exposing students with strong fundamental concepts, programming and problem solving skills by providing hands on experience. The department also aids in inculcating moral and ethical values which helps to serve the society."

The Learning atmosphere being more practical oriented with in-plant training sessions makes the transition from the educational institution to an industry effortless. We provide the students with ability to perform analysis, specification, design and implementation of quality solutions. The department also encourages students to participate in technical events on-campus and off-campus. The department has its own significant student organization named SUMMIT (Sandhan of Upcoming MCA’s for Motivating Innovative talents) is a Department association activity, which provides a special platform for the students to upgrade their cultural, technical & soft skills. The department conducts colloquia and counseling sessions to establish a positive communication system in the students. We assist the students in their career placements by conducting multiple on campus placement. The Department Library is enriched with nearly 387 volumes, CD’s & Journals. The department has been organizing events like Paper presentations and Workshops. Many National Level Paper Presentation contests named AIKYA and NIPUNA were conducted for the benefit of students, in which students from various prestigious institutions across the country presented their research in latest technologies
