The School has three departments viz Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The School offers different courses including core courses and stream based electives that help the students to have flexibility and level of degrees (UG, PG and Doctoral) pursued. The School has signed MoUs with reputed industries namely IBM, Microsoft, Infosys, Zensar, Keane, Virtusa, CTS,IGATE etc.

Introduction of the Department
The faculty of the department is a perfect blend of state of the art specializations in Computer Science and Engineering to deliver the diversified courses of both the UG and PG programs. Active Research is going on in the fields of Computer Networks and Security, Data Mining, Web Technologies, Embedded Systems and Software Engineering. The department is the nodal point for research in Software Engineering and Computer Networks and Security
An R&D Center has been established in the department to facilitate research and research projects. In addition, a few faculty of the department are executing the In-house R&D Projects funded by the college. Faculty of the department has published and presented more than 100 papers during the past 3 years in different journals and conferences.
The department has organized one international conference, two National Level workshops and three National student level paper presentation contests in the past 2 years.
Objectives of the Programs
To educate the students at UG and pg level so that they will reach their full potential in computer science and engineering research and industrial practice through a deep understanding of the fundamentals of the field, their application in solving problems and creating products, and with an affinity for lifelong educational renewal.

- The employment outlook for Computer Professionals is expected to grow significantly over the coming years.
- The projected, fastest-growing industries of Computer Science include data processing services, computer consulting businesses, and software houses. Also, computer programmers / software engineers are in great demand in these industries because many companies want to keep cost low and change technology.
- Although companies change technology so much, CSE graduates should be knowledgeable and experienced in working with a variety of computer programming languages and tools.
- Most companies are looking particularly for C++/Java and other oriented languages such as Visual Programing and others. In order for engineering graduates to remain competitive, they should keep up with the latest skills and technology.
- Various job opportunities for computer science engineering graduates as entry level programmers, software engineers, test developers to higher career options like architects, technical leaders and managers.

Electronics and Computer Engineering
Introduction of the department
The Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering was started in the academic year 1999 – 2000. This discipline is unique, featuring courses of both Computer Science Engineering and Electronics Engineering. The department was accredited by N.B.A, ISO 9001-2000 certified. The department has its own student organization named ESSENCE, which acts as forum for students to present their skills, both technical and non-technical. The department has a well equipped Embedded Systems Lab and a Research and Development wing. Apart from this, the department also has a computer centre that is equipped with state-of-art computer systems and leased line internet connection. Besides UG program, the department also offers PG program in Embedded Systems
The department stands tall with the latest achievements its students have made. To mention some, the percentage of students selected for the on-campus jobs offered by Satyam, CTS, Wipro, TCS, INFOSYS, DSL Technologies, ADP, HCL, Caritor, Slash Support, Oracle, IGATE, Accenture, Resonance Holdings etc is among the highest in the college. Apart from this, the number of students pursuing their higher education in prestigious institutions like University of Southern California, George Mason University, University of Texas at Dallas, John Hopkins University, New Mexico State University etc…is also considerably high.

Introduction of the department
The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2004. The department consists of excellent faculty who teach ‘How to think rather what to Think’. The department has good Library and Laboratory facilities with fully equipped Infrastructure and updated Software. The Faculty and students are actively involved in various Research Activities.
Objectives:
This program is conceptualized and designed based on the strong commitment of the department to provide better quality education to the students. The principal objectives of this Programme are to:
