Cultural Festival 2011

KL University organized ?Cultural Festival 2010? on 26th & 27th of February, 2010. The hallmarks of the festival are:

• 16 hrs. of Cultural and Literary events organized during the day.
• 7 hrs. of cultural events organized in the evening and night.
• Organized the events in four different halls parallelly.
• There was an unbelievable response from the students for the events. More than 4000 students attended the evening programmes on both days.
• Opportunity is given to as many students as possible to participate and perform.
• Students as well as the members of the faculty exhibited their discipline & commitment collectively during the festival.

The Chief guest of the first day evening programme was Sri Sri Sri T.S.Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, a philanthropist & social reformer. He spoke on the Technology and students involvement in improvising it.

The chief guest of the Second day evening programme was Dr. M.Y.S.Prasad, Asst.Director, Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota. In his address to the gathering, he threw light on the activities at ISRO and ISRO?s place in the world of space.

An informative and inspiring art exhibition was set up with more than 1400 entries including Handicrafts, Working Robots, Numismatics, philately, scale models and so on.
