The 2nd CSI National Student Symposium

The 2nd CSI National Student Symposium has been  conducted in KL University by CSI- KL University Student Branch and Koneru Chapter of CSI on 18th & 19th March, 2011.

The theme of this symposium was 'Enhancing  Employability'.

The symposium was inaugurated by Prof. P. Thrimurthy, President of CSI and Sri. K.Satyanarayana, Chancellor, KL University. Prof. H.R.Vishwakarma, Hon. Secretary of CSI, Wg. Cdr. M. Murugesan, Director Education, Sri. T.Sabapathy, Karnataka State Student Co-ordinator, Sri Amarnadh Rao, Director, SIG- Soft Skills, CSI, Sri K. Raju , Hyderabad Chapter-Chairman, Dr. K. Rajasekhara Rao, AP State Student Coordinator and Convenor of the symposium, Sri P. Dandhapani, CEO, Evoke Technologies, Sri K. Raja Sekhar, Koneru Chapter Chairman, Sri. A.V. Praveen Krishna, Counselor, KLU-CSI Student Branch  and Co-Convenor of the symposium, Koneru chapter CSI members, Student members of CSI-KLUniversity student branch and delegates from all over AP, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, MP and other parts of India.

Invited talks on "The Market, Opportunities & You" by Sri T. Sabapathy,  and on "Personality Development & Softskills" by Prof. Amarnadh Rao on the Symposium main theme "Enhancing Employibility" were the highlights of the first day of the  Symposium.

35 papers were presented. 15 posters were displayed. Spot events on Robotics, Gaming, Programming, Debugging and Online hunt were organised and promoted by the students.

Invited talks on "Agile Scrum software methodology" by Dandapani and on "Employability" by Sri K. Raju were the highlights of the  second day of the Symposium.
