Department of Mathematics

In 1980, the Department of Mathematics was established. The department has a strong backup of 100% doctorate faculties who are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and specialized in various areas of Mathematics. The department focuses on Pure and Applied Mathematics and caters to the professional needs of students of diverse backgrounds. The department offers M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and research programs in Ph.D. Students majoring in science, engineering, commerce, pharmacy, law, arts, architecture, and business administration can also take courses offered by this department. To be abreast of the latest research findings and effective classroom management strategies that address the issue of teaching and learning, the faculty members regularly participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences.
