Sharing his experiences on the campus, Ahmed from Sudan says KL Deemed to be University library is one of his favorite places on the campus. The university has World Class Library Facilities and a variety of books on various subjects for reference and research purposes. There are books related to thesis and project works. The university spent crores of rupees on the library, and I am happy to see more than 41 thousand new titles added this year. There is a Digital library on the campus that readers find very useful, and one can find the resources instantly. The campus is so big and has a study hall which is peaceful, and you can see a lot of students spending their time reading. The Central Library has lakhs of volumes of books, which makes us overwhelmed with the academic infrastructure for International students.
Panashe Chimombe from Zimbabwe, who is pursuing B. Pharma first year from KL Deemed to be University, finds the campus beautiful. The university is home to a diversity of trees, green pastures, and evergreen land, not to forget the scenery of the grounds of the sports facilities. The gym, the basketball court, the volleyball court, the tennis court, and the soccer field are where I spend most of my leisure time during the weekends. The sports courts are my favorite places as it engages me in sports. I found staying and studying here an enjoyable experience.
Tresor Kayiranga from Rwanda, East Africa, said that I love playing basketball in the basketball court of KL Deemed to be University. Many of us enjoy playing basketball in the evening (especially around 4-8 pm), as the university provides bright lights on the basketball court. The university provides UG & PG Twinning programs along with suitable scholarships and guidance to the students to make the cost of their stay abroad as economical as possible and enable them to acquire degrees from both the Universities. Isn’t it amazing? It can be rightly said that KL University has become a focal point for International Students.
Tanzanian Adil, a B.Pharmacy first-year student, and a basketball player, feels that he is fortunate to be part of KL Deemed to be University as it has a state-of-art sports infrastructure and innovative pedagogy. Recently, the International Students’ Club, Sports Department, KL Deemed to be University had organized the 2-week Afro-Fest. KL Deemed to be University has supported them in improving the game, and the university’s International Students’ Club has been very supportive, he said.
