KL TIF-TBI hosts Innovative Idea Pitching Bootcamp 2022
The Innovation Bootcamp is an event to evaluate the final shortlisted Idea and Prototype stage Startup under the Project – TIDE 2.0 scheme of MeitY. The Bootcamp provides platform to pitch their idea and avail funding support through EiR and Grant support.
To help move a startup concept from theory to reality, KL Technology Incubators Foundation of KL Deemed to be University brings out the culture of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Collaboration, and Action-learning experience to the student startup enthusiasts through its Innovative boot camp event. The event will be held on 5th November 2022 KLTIF-TBI. The participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the startup culture, practices, frameworks, skills, and behaviours and learn from a team of innovators (carefully selected) to build and deliver value through innovation.
KLTIF-TBI has been established with support from the Department of Science and Technology Govt. India with the vision of empowering youth through entrepreneurship. KLTIF started operations in the year 2018 and a short period has incubated 20+ Startups from across the country, the start-ups have collectively created more than 100+ jobs. KLTIF at KL University primarily offers 2 programs, the first being EMERGE which is an Incubation Program of 11 months for Early-Stage startups, and the second is a Pre-Incubation program for Ideas to prototype stage support. KLTIF has also partnered with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India to set up a Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) program through which we provide financial support to early-Stage-startups.
MeitY TIDE 2.0 is a 1 Year Enterprise Building Program that aims to nurture Innovative Ideas and help Entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into Prototype or MVPs as well as equip Startup businesses with the tools needed to create and grow Startup Ventures, raise capital, and effectively network with successful Entrepreneurs & Industry leaders. The program offers a series of interactive sessions around Business Modelling, Market Fit & Customer Feedback, and Financial Modelling with the best of facilitators.
Outcomes of the event
The participants will get better networking opportunities and mentoring sessions by experts, rapidly identify and advance new business concepts, and learn principles central to innovation like- problem discovery, ideation, and more. You’ll hear from investors, entrepreneurs, and others from KL Deemed to be University’s diverse innovation ecosystem.

By the end of the event, participants will be able to explore solutions to critical questions related to innovation, ideation, problem solving, way to a superior solutions and financially sustainable ways.
