Publicity

One of the elements that contribute to the success of any event is the number of people attending, and the fun that they are having. So, how do we get people there? Through effective publicity and promotion. Publicity is the materials used to announce our event, re: flyers, posters, campus news announcements, The Equinox, and the like. Promotion, on the other hand is the process that you use to get the announcements out. For instance, having someone dressed in a tuxedo to sell tickets to a formal dance. A combination of effective publicity and promotion is the key to getting the attention of people and getting them to our event.
