Lepakshi Painting Workshop-2020

A workshop conducted on 06-02-2020 at Fine Arts Department, E105, KL University. This workshop on Utility and Decorative products preparation by using Lepakshi paintings to create an awareness and promote our native culture . This workshop will gave us beautiful output of products like paintings a kind of utility based art works . Three Assistant Professors from department of Fine arts Mr.J.V.sridhar Patnala, S.Adeseshaish, and Mr. K.V.Murali collaborately coordinated and shared knowledge from their industry experience in this work shop to all students of our University. Students from MBA, BCA ,Architecture, BCom and CSc, Civil Engeneering participated in this workshop.

This work shop inaugurated by Dean Students Affairs Dr.Habibulla Khan, Associate Dean Dr.Ravindranath, Director Hobby clubs Mr.Subhakar Raju, HOD Fine Arts Dr.Gomathi Gowda.

Other dignitaries attended at the time of inauguration are Mr. Vidya Sagar, HOD Architecture Department, HOD BCA Department Dr. Prasad and Dr.Murthy from Commerce Department.

Character Designing and Free Hand Sketching

Department of Creative Arts and Media Studies (CAMS) planned to organize open workshop for all KLEF students on 28-09-2015 (Monday) titled “Character Designing and Free Hand Sketching” The resource person will be “Mr. Subba Rao (Srujan)” who is an eminent and well proficient artist in related field. Basic Photography for Women

As a part of Saheli activity of KLEF Women’s Forum, CAMS dept. has conducted a workshop on “Basic Photography” for all Girl students, Women employees in the KLEF on 30-09-2015. The resource person is “Mr. Syed Ahmed” who is an eminent and well experienced in the field of Photography. Ms. Asha Parveen (Asst. Professor, Dept. of CAMS) coordinated the workshop.

In this regard Dr. Habibullah Khan, Dean student affairs, Women’s Forum Convener Dr. S.V.N.L Lalitha and Mrs. Lakshmi Prasuna, Assistant Registrar attended the workshop and delivered few words on photography as well as the importance of photography in the life of Women. They also appreciated the coordinators for the cause behind the collected amount from the workshop i.e. distribution of Fruits and bringing awareness about the Nutritious food for the Pregnant Women in Government Hospital.



Aim & Shoot Workshop

Department of Creative Arts and Media Studies organized the open workshop for all students in the KLEF on 02nd Feb 2015 for Photography course and titled “Aim and Shoot”. The resource persons are Mr. Chandra Sekhar and Mr. G.N.Srinivas who are eminent and well proficient photographers. The main objective of this workshop is to introduce students the basic photography practices with Point and Shoot Cameras, DSLR, and even in Mobiles by following elements, principles and also how to compose images and get the output in professional standards.



Short-Filmmaking Workshop

Department of CAMS organizes the two-day seminar for the Samyaak (A techno management fest) on the month of February 26, 27. The short film workshop conducted by New Light cinemas and resource person is Mr.Kamal Sucharan Burri and his team.


Workshop on Graphic Design Basics

"Department of Creative Arts and Media Studies organised Graphic Design basics seminar with the theme "Design is every where" on 20th March 2015. Mr. Sathish Rajan Visual Artist and Professor at PG Research Centre, St. Joseph’s College, Bengaluru lead this seminar. Its aim is to introduce students to basic principles in graphic design, illustration. This seminar enables students to present their elementary designs by following elements and principles. For creating the Design Projects the students practices on different software applications. Students actively engaged themselves with one-day seminar."
