International Immersion Program in Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland

Four promising Biotech students from K L University (KLU) recently had the unique opportunity to intern at the prestigious Harvard Medical School, sponsored by the university itself. The students, who embarked on their journey in January 2020, successfully completed their internship in June 2020. Dr. Giridhar, the esteemed Head of the Department, played a pivotal role in shortlisting and preparing the students for this prestigious opportunity. The students were responsible for their travel and living expenses during their internship. Among the interns, Ms. Jahnavi distinguished herself with exceptional performance, earning her an extension of her stay at Harvard Medical University for an additional 12 months, until June 2021. This extension comes with a generous stipend to cover her living costs. Recognizing her outstanding achievement, K L University further supported Ms. Jahnavi by sponsoring her travel expenses, a testament to her position as the top student in her class. This remarkable achievement underscores KLU's commitment to fostering excellence in its students and providing them with global platforms to showcase their talents.
