"K L University (KLU) and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, have embarked on an exciting collaborative venture, involving 10 talented students from KLU in a 15-week multi-disciplinary capstone project. This innovative project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and focuses on addressing critical global challenges. Students from various disciplines, including Computer Science, Architecture, and AI & Data Science, have come together to work on a diverse range of projects. Some of the key project areas include: Urban Sustainability: Assessing green spaces, river linking projects, and urban heat island effects. Environmental Impact: Analyzing urban flood risks, climate change, and agricultural drought. Technological Solutions: Leveraging machine learning, artificial intelligence, and space technology for sustainable solutions. Social Impact: Addressing issues like malnutrition, rural development, and economic empowerment. By collaborating with AIT, KLU aims to provide students with a unique opportunity to work on real-world problems, gain international exposure, and develop valuable skills. This partnership will foster innovation, creativity, and a global mindset among the next generation of leaders."
