Dr.Tata Rao M.Com.,VIH.,MLISc.,Ph.D

Dr.Tata Rao, K. obtained the degrees of Master of Commerce and Master of Library and Information Sciences from the Andhra University. He has been awarded the degree Doctor of Philosophy in the Library Science. He served as University Librarian in the Central Library - Sri Sathya Sai University. Formerly he served as Librarian, Mrs.AVN College, Visakhapatnam and Lecturer, Dept.of Library and Information Science, Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Sri Sathya Sai University, Puttaparthi and at present as University Librarian at K L University, Vijayawada AP. He has been closely associated with the Librarianship for the last 35 years. He is an unwearied researcher and a devoted scholar. Half a dozen of his research articles have been published in the books and highly reputed journals including HINDU.

He is recipient of NATIONAL AWARD entitled “Dr..S R Ranganathan AWARD” conferred by the IASLIC (Indian Association of Special Libraries & Information Centers ) in 1997 against his best articulation..

He has expertise in administrating the university library in general and Digital library in particular. His academic habit in the K L University is to succeed the ORIENTATIONS OF DIFFERENT DATABASES for the sake of both Engineering and Non-engineering streams.
