Award Of Degree

For B.Tech., all B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BCA:

A student having cleared all the courses and met all the requirements for the award of degree with

• a.5.25 ≤ CGPA < 5.75 will be awarded Pass Class
• b.5.75 ≤ CGPA < 6.75 will be awarded Second Class
• c.6.75 ≤ CGPA < 7.75 will be awarded First Class
• d.CGPA ≥ 7.75 will be awarded First Class with Distinction provided the student has cleared all the courses in first attempt and must have fulfilled all the program requirements in program specified minimum years duration.

For B.Arch.:

A student having cleared all the courses and met all the requirements for the award of degree with

• a. 5.75 ≤ CGPA < 6.25 will be awarded Pass Class
• b. 6.25 ≤ CGPA < 6.75 will be awarded Second Class
• c. 6.75 ≤ CGPA < 7.75 will be awarded First Class
• d. CGPA ≥ 7.75 will be awarded First Class with Distinction provided the student has cleared all the courses in first attempt and must have fulfilled all the program requirements in program specified minimum years duration.

For M.Tech., M.Sc., M.A., MCA, MBA:

A student having cleared all the courses and met all the requirements for the award of degree with

• a. 5.5 ≤ CGPA < 5.75 will be awarded Pass Class
• b. 5.75 ≤ CGPA < 6.75 will be awarded Second Class
• c. 6.75 ≤ CGPA < 7.75 will be awarded First Class
• d. CGPA ≥ 7.75 will be awarded First Class with Distinction provided the student has cleared all the courses in first attempt and must have fulfilled all the program requirements in program specified minimum years duration.

For BBA-LLB, LLB:

A student having cleared all the courses and met all the requirements for the award of degree with

• a. 5.0 ≤ CGPA < 5.5 will be awarded Pass Class
• b. 5.5 ≤ CGPA < 6.5 will be awarded Second Class
• c. 6.5≤ CGPA < 8.0 will be awarded First Class
• d. CGPA ≥ 8.0 will be awarded First Class with Distinction provided the student has cleared all the courses in first attempt and must have fulfilled all the program requirements in program specified minimum years duration.

For B.Pharmacy, M.Pharm:

A student having cleared all the courses and met all the requirements for the award of degree with

• a. Minimum of 5 CGPA is considered as Pass criteria for a student.
• b. 5.0 ≤ CGPA ≤ 5.99 will be awarded Second Class
• c. 6.0≤ CGPA ≤ 7.49 will be awarded First Class
• d. CGPA ≥ 7.5 will be awarded First Class with Distinction provided the student has cleared all the courses in first attempt and must have fulfilled all the program requirements in program specified minimum years duration.

For B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture:

A student having cleared all the courses and met all the requirements for the award of degree with

• a. 5.0 ≤ OGPA ≤ 5.9 will be awarded Pass Class
• b. 6.0 ≤ OGPA ≤ 6.9 will be awarded Second Class
• c. 7.0≤ OGPA ≤ 7.9 will be awarded First Class
• d. OGPA ≥ 8.0 will be awarded First Class with Distinction provided the student has cleared all the courses in first attempt and must have fulfilled all the program requirements in program specified minimum years duration.
