Honors can be awarded if students complete additional courses from their core program and earn 20 extra credits through specified category of courses.
Honors through Research offers students the chance to explore their chosen field of study in greater depth, cultivate valuable research skills, and make meaningful contributions to their specific area of interest. Students can be awarded this Degree upon fulfilling the requirement of earning an additional 20 credits through specified category of courses.
Honors through Innovation emphasize the exploration of innovative ideas, problem-solving, and creative thinking within a particular field of study. It may provide opportunities for students to engage in innovative projects, research, or entrepreneurial activities. Students can be awarded their degree upon successful completion of additional courses from their core program and earning an extra 20 credits through specified category of courses.
Honors through Experiential Learning focuses on hands-on, practical experiences that complement and enhance traditional classroom learning. Students will be eligible for the degree upon the successful completion of additional courses from their core program and the attainment of 20 extra credits through specified category of courses.
Note: For the above said categories, if a student fails to meet the CGPA and SGPA requirements, at any point after registration, s/he will be dropped from the list of students eligible for the specified Degree, then student will receive B.Tech. Degree only. However, such students will receive a separate grade sheet mentioning the additional courses completed by them.
