Smart Grid Technologies, for its enormous impact on the next generation energy consumption has been highly focused research and deployment venture which paved way for inter-disciplinary research in electrical, electronics, computer, instrumentation, automation, and communication engineering. The conference aims at the coagulation of research ideas in monitoring, metering, sensing, automation, communication, information security and IOT aspects of smart grids besides the ideas of renewable power integration and power system re-structuring. Expert talks are planned for exchange of ideas and sharing expertise. The conference serves to be better platform to enrich research activities towards smart grid technologies.

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation is started in the year of 1995. Over the last few decades, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Electrical & Electronics Engineering curriculum and research. We have a strong undergraduate program in Electrical & Electronics engineering (B. Tech), M. Tech. & dual degree program. We have good researchers for PhD degree, at present the department has more than 100 PhD scholars. Our department offers design-based engineering curriculum. The department maintains active research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. We have state of art research facilities to support our academic programs blended with research. Sponsored Funding projects worth of around 2.5 crores during last five years from DST-SERB & AICTE etc., to maintain and modernize our research infrastructure. The department has 4 research labs and 7 Academic state of art lab facilities. The department faculty has published 9 patents in IPR and 16 technical textbooks in standard publishers. The department has strong industry connect like MNC’s and top public & private industries to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The faculty members got many prestigious awards at national and international levels. Our department looks forward to contribute in solving the technological challenges of the society with active participation from all sections.
