Currently holding the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering in Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, she has made substantial contributions to academia, research, and student affairs. She also holds the roles of Associate Dean (Student Affairs) and Convener for the Women Development Cell, in addition to serving as Convenor for various university-level committees. DR. K. Sonyis a distinguished professional in the field of Optical Communications, obtained her Ph.D. from KL University in 2023. She holds an M.Tech. degree in Laser and Electro Optical Engineering from Anna University, earned between 2010 and 2012, and a B.Tech. in Electronic and Communication Engineering from LBRCE, affiliated to JNTU Kakinada, where she graduated in 2010.Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations and Co-Convenor of the Women's Forum at KL University, Dr. K. In her research work, she is preparing optical glasses andphosphors that can be used for Laser, optical fiber and solid state lightening applications. DrMahamuda Sahik has published 72 research papers in reputed SCI journals. She is also actingas a Project Implementation group member for DST-PURSE (7 Crores) DST-FIST level-1project (1.07 crores) sanctioned by DST, Government of India. She has presented the resultsof her research work in more than 85 international and national conferences. Her researchcitations are more than 2513 and h-index: 30, i10-index: 47.
