One-day National Workshop Ad-Wise (Brand-wise)
A National Workshop was conducted by Business Administration
Division on Sep 22, 2007 by the youngest Department of
the College. The objective is to provide insights into the
process of building brands through advertising. About 22
Delegates from across India participated in the event. The
resource person for the Workshop was Mr. Vijay Xavier,
Lowe Lintas. He illustrated his speech with Case Studies from
Ford, Ikon and Saint Gobain. Mr. R. Seshadri, MD, Anuragh
Madison, an expert on Rural Branding, highlighted opportunities
in Rural Branding, Changing Trends in Rural Markets, Pitfalls in
Rural branding and Approaches to building Rural Brands. He used
the examples of HP Gas, Sonata Watches, Gromor, Air Deccan in
his presentation to make his point
