1 An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization for the solution of complex engineering problems in engineering (Engineering Knowledge)
2 An ability to identify, formulate, research literature, analyze complex engineering problems in engineering using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences (Problem Analysis)
3 An ability to design solutions for complex engineering problems and system component or processes that meet the specified needs considering public health & safety and cultural, societal & environment (Design/ development of solutions)
4 An ability to use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data and synthesis of the information to obtain solutions to engineering problems (Conduct investigations of complex problems)
5 Ability to create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern engineering activities, with an understanding of the limitations (Modern tool usage)
6 Ability to apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice (The engineer and society)
