Planning And Development-STP

The campus treats its wastewater using five sewage treatment plants (STPs) with a combined capacity of 2,180 KLD. Treated water is recycled for flushing and garden irrigation. Sludge from the STPs is removed monthly, composted, and used as manure for campus gardens. This efficient system meets 80% of the campus's water demand, significantly reducing reliance on fresh groundwater. The STPs utilize advanced MBBR and ABBit technologies, ensuring effective wastewater recycling. With a well-established capacity of 2,180 KLD, the system promotes sustainable water management by reusing wastewater for dual flushing and landscaping purposes.
