Economics:

Political Science:
This area involves the study of political theory, comparative politics, political methodology, practice of governing and lawmaking. Political scientists use a variety of methods and tools to gather new insights and conduct experiments on a particular issue or phenomenon.
Public Administration:
Public administration is concern with the management, implementation, and operation of Government policies and programmes. The research in this area deals with organizing the functions of government agencies, for entry level roles in the public sector, along with the skill of leadership, management and communications.

Varied research areas that primarily reflect the complexity of world affairs emphasize international law, MNCs, sovereign nations, non-governmental organizations, and international relations. Research in this area aims to understand the patterns and trends of earth observation system and its surface using various tools and techniques of maps, satellite images, GIS, and spatial analysis. It is a diverse field that combines element of both natural and social sciences to explore the complex relationships between people and their surroundings.
History:
History and culture is a thrust area of research in this domain that involves exploring the preservation, documentation, and interpretation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage. This includes conservation and cultural identity of heritage management. The areas integrate history, archeology, anthropology, and environmental studies for a holistic understanding as per NEP-2020.
English Language and Linguistics:
