Other Flexible Degree Programmes

K L University offers several flexibilities for students in terms of Major and Minor degree, Double degree and Dual degree programmes. Students are free to choose electives within and across the disciplines.

In the Minor programmes, the student completes all the B.Tech requirements of one discipline, which is called his Major discipline, and in addition, completes a smaller set of courses from same or across discipline, to earn a Minor. In such cases, degree will be awarded as "Bachelor of Technology in aaa with Minor in bbb." For example - B.Tech in Electronics with Minor in VLSI.

In the Double degree programmes, the student is expected to complete the requirements of two undergraduate degrees. For example, one may do a B.Tech in Mechanical and another B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Normally, student is expected to do both degrees in 5 years.

In Dual degree programmes student will do B.Tech and M.Tech programmes in a span of 5 years.
