This paper presents a square patch array antenna on liquid crystal substrate at 24GHz. The proposed square patch array antenna will be in light weight, flexible, slim and compact unit compare with current antennas at this frequency. This paper also presents the detail steps of designing the square patch microstrip array antenna and simulated results using Ansoft-HFSS.Coaxial feeding is taken in this designing. The proposed square patch microstrip array antenna basically is a phased array consisting of ?4? elements (square patch antennas) arranged in a rectangular grid. The size of each element is determined by the operating frequency. The return loss, input impedance smith chart, 3D, 2D gain, VSWR and other parameters are simulated and presented in this paper.
