Abstract
One of the main criteria that should be
considered for while designing the Embedded Systems is the performance
optimization. The performance issue is critical especially in respect of the
Real-Time Embedded Systems. The performance is dependent on the performance of
both hardware and software and considering both together. In this paper a novel
method has been proposed using which the performance of embedded system can be
computed considering both Hardware and Software. An optimization mechanism has
also been proposed. The methods proposed in this for computation of performance
in terms of the response time through latency computations have been applied to
a Pilot project and the experimental results are presented
