Abstract:

With the flowering of the electronic age, fast and direct communications between computers, peripherals, and a variety of embedded devices are vital. Communication is necessary for achieving
exchange of data between Hardware, Software and both that are in existence within a single system or on multiple systems The standards like firewire help in establishing communication between the embedded systems when tailor made for a specific application. In this paper a revised architecture of the firewire standard is presented that supports growing technological layered architectures by modifying the design of the same to be suitable for any of the applications.
