Abstract:
There is a growing demand in need for antennas or a single antenna which are capable of accessing services in different frequency bands, in wireless communications. The proposed model is a single layer patch antenna with various dimensional parallel slots using RT-duroid substrate. All the antenna parameters are simulated by using the commercial Ansoft HFFS software. The Bandwidth percentage for the operating frequencies 2-6 GHz is good for equal slot lengths. The obtained Return loss is less than -10dB and the average gain is greater than 6dB.The proposed antenna is very useful for different modern wireless communication applications.
