A novel design of Dual band triangular serrated micro strip patch antenna was designed with different models of serrations and their simulation results are presented in this paper. Equal spaced serrated triangular shapes are etched on four sides of the patch and its performance characteristics are simulated. The number of elements on each side of the antenna is taken as 5,6,7,8 and all the models are resonating at dual band with moderate gain. Return loss, radiation patterns, input impedance and other antenna parameters like electric, magnetic and surface current distributions. Simulated results show that all the proposed antenna models achieved broadsided radiation pattern with linear polarization characteristics.
