The Department of Computer Science and Engineering started in 1983 and alumni association in 2013, now our department have state of art technology labs and excellence centres, department runs B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD programmes and engaged in cutting edge research with sponsored projects and consultancies. Many of our alumni are CEOs, Vice Presidents, Directors, Entrepreneurs, Academicians and Consultants spread across globe, KLU Alumni Association has started local chapters within major cities of India and USA, As the Department is growing, alumni association plays crucial rule in bridging gap between industry and academics.
The purpose of our alumni association is to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote and support the department's goals, and to strengthen the ties between alumni and the current students.
CSE Alumni Association Goals
- To uphold the image of CSE Department with global standards
- Organizing Knowledge sharing sessions, seminars, workshops and conferences
- Alumni initiated internships and placements
- Conducting Mentor-Mentee Programmes, Reunions and Silver jubilee celebrations of respective batches
- Identifying prominent alumni and showcasing their achievements to present students for motivation
- Creating bridges by creating opportunities for acquaintance between former students of the CSE and keeping the spirit of sympathy and cooperation among all.
