RPAC(Research Progress Assesment Committee)
The research activities carried out in the department will be looked after
by a committee called RPAC (Research Progress and Assessment Committee)
which is headed by a chairman consisting of the following members.
- Board of Studies (BOS)
- Research Group heads of all the research groups as its members.
The following activities will be taken care by the RPAC committee in the
department.

Monitoring the research activities of the individual research groups
- To assess and evaluate the progress in research of the department.
- Assigning guides to the scholars

Conducting reviews, department talks, organizing Opentalks, final defense
of the scholars.
- Maintaining a quality research environment in the department.
- Scrutinizing the research proposals and projects.
- Assessing the candidates for funded projects.

Involves in scrutinizing the proposals for seminars and conferences.
