RPAC(Research Progress Assesment Committee)

The research activities carried out in the department will be looked after by a committee called RPAC (Research Progress and Assessment Committee) which is headed by a chairman consisting of the following members.

• Board of Studies (BOS)
• Research Group heads of all the research groups as its members.

The following activities will be taken care by the RPAC committee in the department.

• Monitoring the research activities of the individual research groups
• To assess and evaluate the progress in research of the department.
• Assigning guides to the scholars
• Conducting reviews, department talks, organizing Opentalks, final defense of the scholars.
• Maintaining a quality research environment in the department.
• Scrutinizing the research proposals and projects.
• Assessing the candidates for funded projects.
• Involves in scrutinizing the proposals for seminars and conferences.
