Prof. Jaya Raj, Professor in Linguistics, EFLU, Hyderabad gave a guest lecture on New Methods and Approaches in Language Teaching, on 16-03-2017 at F002-Ground floor Call Lab. He touched upon various new methods of Language Teaching presently going in and around India.  He focused on teaching phonetics, pronunciation and accent training. He highlighted some of the practical problems while teaching English to the Indian students coming from rural areas .He emphasized on L1 influence on L2 and suggested various tips how to overcome the problem.
