Technical Clubs

ASTRA is the Department's flagship national cultural festival held every year. Student technical clubs play a transformative role in enhancing practical learning and nurturing innovation among engineering students. They provide opportunities to work on real-time projects, explore emerging technologies, and gain hands-on experience beyond academics. These clubs encourage teamwork, leadership, and creative thinking by involving students in competitions, workshops, hackathons, and technical talks. They help bridge the gap between classroom concepts and industry expectations, making students more confident and employable.

IoT-Blockchain Club

This club focuses on strengthening students knowledge of IoT security and blockchain-based solutions. Hands-on workshops on ethical hacking, blockchain integration with IoT devices, cyber-defense drills, security awareness sessions, capture-the-flag (CTF) events, and mini-projects on secure IoT applications.

Generative AI Club

The club encourages students to explore cutting-edge generative AI technologies and tools. Training sessions on LLMs, prompt engineering workshops, AI-based project building, hackathons, industry-expert talks, and real-time application development using generative AI models.

IoT Embedded Systems Club

This club provides practical exposure to embedded hardware and IoT prototyping. Hardware labs using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32, sensor interfacing sessions, PCB designing, weekly build challenges, mini-project development, and showcasing IoT prototypes during departmental events.
