1. The Guest lecture on"An interactive session on Academia and industry collaboration in civil engineering" Organising by civil engineering department. The guest was successful in delivering the needful and meeting the objective. He has taken many case studies of highway execution during his tenure at different levels of authority of the department and linked all the engineering characteristics of Materials and their testing which students learn from the academics. It was a perfect blend of academics and industry and definitely would enrich the student's ability to implement the knowledge of academic leanings to the real time project environment. He also took the concrete technology with a pictorial representation of how the production, mixing, transport and placing the concrete happen in a real project environment and all required tools, plants, machinery and pavers. This has given student a deep insight into visualizing the practical scenario of how concrete production, execution and quality control happen.

2. Geotechnical and Transportation Research Group of Civil Engineering Department has organized a subject based seminar on the topic "ADVANCES IN GEOTECHNICAL AND TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING" on 4th Sep 2015 at K L University campus in association with Keller Ground Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., and GMR Infrastructure Ltd.The Seminar inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Amerendra kumar Sandra, from HBS infra Engineers India Pvt. Lts, Mr. Madan Kumar Annam, Technical Manager, Keller Ground Engineering India Pvt. Ltd, Dr. CH Hanumantha Rao, Dean Evaluations and Examinations, K L University, Dr. K. Ramesh, Head of the Civil Department, K L University, Dr. C. Ravi Kumar Reddy, In Charge Head of the Civil Department, K L University.In this all the IV/IV & III/IV B.tech students has participated and the total program has been scheduled in five sessions in which the three resource persons has delivered their outstanding seminars and the real work experiences that they have faced in the factual work environments.In the first session from 9.30 AM to 11.00 AM, Dr. Amerendra kumar Sandra from HBS infra Engineers India Pvt. Lts delivered his valuable seminar on the topic "Pavement Construction: Materials and Testing". Dr Amerendra Kumar Sandra has also explained the real facts about the pavement design and he has shared his veiods and pictures regarding the Materials & Testing's.In the Second Session from 11.15 PM to 12.30PM, Mr. Madan Kumar Annam, Technical Manager, Keller Ground Engineering India Pvt. Ltd delivered a brief explanation on the topic "Over View of pavement Design and Recycling of bituminous pavement" After the lunch in the third session 13.30PM to 14.45PM, Mr. Madan Kumar Annam, Technical Manager, Keller Ground Engineering India Pvt. Ltd delivered a brief explanation on the topic "Ground Engineering Techniques" where their strengths lies in carrying out large soil investigation programs for infrastructure projects, industrial plants, dams and landfill sites. In fourth session 15.00PM to 16.15PM, Mr. Madan Kumar Annam, Technical Manager, Keller Ground Engineering India Pvt. Ltd continued his seminar on another topic "Design and Construction of Heavy Foundations for Infrastructure projects".the fifth and last session 16.15PM to 17.00PM, Mr. Vishal Kumar A, Business Development Manager from Arup India Pvt. Ltd delivered his speech on the topic 3D Soil Settlement and stress analysis.

3. The certificate course is conducted for third year students on TOTAL STATION by the Team of LADDER SURVEY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY following dates 26-08-2015 to 1-09-2015.
