1. Guest Lecture' is an activity organized by Dept. of E.E.E of K L University on 24-07-2015 from 11.00 A.M to 12:40 P.M. The Guest Lecture is given by Prof. S D Varwandkar Research Academic in Power Networks, VJTI, Mumbai. The topic of the Guest Lecture is "New Power Flow Methods for Deregulation". In order to contribute to the Department mission, Guest Lecture is organized in our campus premises to bring awareness among the IVth year B. Tech. students and faculty E.E.E department of K L University regarding the concept of various power flow methods that are used for deregulated power systems as a base case solution.
2. Guest Lecture‟ is an activity organized by Dept. of E.E.E of K L University on 08-08-2015 from 10.00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. The Guest Lecture is given Mr. Dipayan Mazumdar, ECE Dept., KL University. The topic of the Guest Lecture is "Importance of Phase Measurement Units". In order to contribute to the Department mission, Guest Lecture is organized in our campus premises to bring awareness among the faculty and M. Tech. students on PMU.
3. 'Subject Based Seminar' is an activity organized by Dept. Of E.E.E of K L University on 30-08-2015 from 11.00 A.M to 12:30 P.M. The Seminar is given by Dr. D.M. Vinod Kumar, Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT-Warangal. The topic of the Seminar is "India Grid Disturbance-2012 and Soft Computing techniques in Electrical Engineering" In order to contribute to the Department mission, Seminar is organized in our campus premises to bring awareness among the faculty, E.E.E department of K L University regarding the Indian Power Sector scenario, Grid disturbance in 2012, its causes and Different Soft Computing Techniques in Electrical Engineering.
4. KL University's Electrical and Electronics Engineering department in association with KL University IEEE student chapter inaugurated a three day short course on Recent Trends and Applications in Smart and Micro Grids.
5. Power System Research Group conducted A Short Term course on "Recent Trends in Microgrids and Smart grids" from July 10-12, 2015.
