Dr. T. Srinivasa Rao, HOD, Department of Mathematics
Dr. T. Srinivasa Rao is an accomplished academician with 27 years of teaching experience in Mathematics, specializing in teaching both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students across Engineering and Science disciplines. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
His research expertise lies in the areas of Queueing Theory, Fuzzy sets and Soft Set Theory, and he has made significant contributions to these fields. He has published 33 research papers in reputed journals indexed in Scopus, SCI and Web of Science. In addition, he has actively participated in National and International conferences, presenting his research work to the academic community. In addition to publishing, Dr. Rao has also served as a reviewer for reputed international journals such as: Engineering Mathematics (ENGMATH) and Annals of Fuzzy Mathematics and Informatics
As a research supervisor, Dr. Rao has successfully guided two Ph.D. scholars to completion and is currently supervising two more. His dedication to mentoring young researchers highlights his commitment to advancing mathematical research.
Apart from his academic and research contributions, Dr. Rao is well respected for his interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with faculty colleagues, students, and parents, fostering a collaborative and positive academic environment.
