Dr. Padma S. is the Head of the Department (MBA) and Professor at K
L Business School, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (Deemed to
be University), Vijayawada. She holds a Ph.D. in Management and
brings over 25 years of distinguished experience spanning academia,
research, academic administration, corporate training, and
leadership development.
An accomplished academic leader, Dr. Padma has established herself
as a respected educator, researcher, and mentor in the domains of
Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, and
Agile HR. She is widely recognized for integrating academic
excellence with industry relevance through innovative pedagogy,
experiential learning, case-based instruction, simulations, live
projects, and technology-enabled teaching practices.
Her industry engagement enables her to bridge the gap between
classroom learning and workplace expectations, preparing students to
become competent, ethical, and future-ready management
professionals.
Dr. Padma's research interests include Employee Engagement, Employee
Well-being, Work–Life Balance, Agile Human Resource Management,
Future of Work, and Organizational Effectiveness. She has authored
more than 50 research publications in reputed Scopus-indexed and
ABDC-listed international journals, reflecting her commitment to
impactful and practice-oriented research.
Prior to assuming the role of Head of the Department, she served as
Professor-in-Charge (Academics) for the MBA programme, where she
played a pivotal role in curriculum innovation, outcome-based
education, academic governance, quality assurance, accreditation
initiatives, and continuous programme enhancement.
As Head of the Department, Dr. Padma envisions K L Business School as a centre of excellence in management education by fostering academic excellence, research innovation, international collaborations, industry partnerships, entrepreneurship, and responsible leadership. She is committed to creating an ecosystem that nurtures innovation, develops socially responsible leaders, and prepares students to thrive in an increasingly complex and technology-driven business landscape.
