Research and Development

Emerging Materials Center was established in the year 2019 by the Department of Physics with the support of Department of Science and Technology under DST-FIST Level 1 project with File No. SR/FST/PS-1/2018/35(C), worth of Rs. 107 Lakhs. In this project we procured the instruments Malvern PANalytical multipurpose X ray Diffractometer (P-XRD) and JASCO FT/IR-4700. This facility provides data collection facility from sophisticated equipment to all the research community at nominal charges for their advanced research. It is maintained by group of faculty members well trained for the instruments.

Highlights of our Research Center:

Faculty achievements include Early Career Research Awards and Young Scientist Awards from DST, Govt. of India.
Research outputs meet 12 Sustainable Development Goals with notable publications and projects.
Faculty contributions include high citation counts, H-index, and i10-index scores.
Several patents and funded projects have been successfully completed by faculty members.
Recognitions include Best Researcher and Best Teacher awards, along with AP Academy of Sciences Fellowships.
