The Robotics and Mechatronics Research Center, part of the FIST Lab initiative, is a pioneering facility dedicated to advancing robotics and precision manufacturing technologies. The center specializes in the fabrication of MEMS components, precision machining of aerospace parts, and development of hybrid micromachining systems. Key research areas include microgrippers, accelerometers, and piezoelectric generators. Equipped with state-of-the-art tools such as robotic manipulators, CNC wire-cut EDM, and 3D printers, the lab supports high-precision manufacturing. Collaborative efforts with international and national institutions, including the University of Birmingham and IIT Bombay, enrich its research impact. Training programs, workshops, and funded projects provide hands-on experience for students and researchers. The center actively contributes to high-impact journals and has filed several patents. Its mission is to lead innovation in robotics and mechatronics, addressing industry and academic challenges.
