Dr. K. Shrinivasulu

Dr. K. Shrinivasulu has over 25 years of academic experience, with strong expertise in Microbiology, Cancer Therapeutics, Actinomycetes, Food Preservation, Food Microbiology, and New Product Development.

He served as the Head of the Department of Biotechnology for 8 years, during which he played a key role in establishing the Pharmacy Department in 2016. Under his leadership, the Biotechnology Department received the prestigious DST–FIST Grant (₹86 Lakhs) and he also served as the Co-Guide for the Women Tech Park Grant worth ₹1.5 Crores.

Dr. Shrinivasulu has published 50+ Scopus-indexed research papers. Five Ph.D. scholars have completed their doctorates under his supervision, and six scholars are currently pursuing their research.

In 2022, he was instrumental in establishing the Food Technology Department. He also serves as the Admissions In-Charge for Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Food Technology programs.

He has successfully organized two international conferences and has been honored with the Best Teacher Award three times. His contributions also include several newspaper editorial articles on scientific topics.

In 2023, he was recognized as an ABAP Fellow for his valuable contribution to the scientific community.
