Literary Club (KLEF-LC)

The Literary Club of KL College of Law was established on 27.09.24 under the esteemed guidance and initiative of the Faculty In-charge Mr. Mohd Hammaad Siddiqui, Assistant Professor of Law. KLEF - LC is a vibrant community dedicated to fostering a love for literature and encouraging critical discourse among students. This club serves as a platform for aspiring writers, poets, and readers to come together, share ideas, and explore the intricate relationship between law and literature.

Mission and Activities

The primary mission of the Literary Club is to enhance literary appreciation while encouraging creative expression within the legal framework. Under Mr. Siddiqui's mentorship, the club organizes a variety of engaging activities, including:

  • Literary Workshops: Sessions focused on writing skills, poetry, and storytelling, aimed at nurturing the creative talents of students.
  • Book Discussions: Regular meetings to analyze and discuss various literary works, fostering critical thinking and debate.
  • Open Mic Events: Platforms for students to showcase their literary creations, from poetry readings to short stories, encouraging confidence and public speaking skills.
  • Publications and Organizing Events: MUN, Spell Bee, Deliberations on Landmark Judgements, Story-telling, Publication of Magazine, Newsletters and Year Book.
