Dr. R B R Prakash is currently working as Associate Professor & Alternate HoD in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at KLEF Deemed to be University, Guntur. He has completed his Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2024, M.Tech in Power Electronics and Power Systems (PEPS) from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2008 and B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SCREC, JNTUH in 2005.

He joined in the institution in 2009. He was appointed as Alternate HoD in July 2017. He got Best Teacher Award for the academic years 2011-12, 2013-14 and 2015-16 from KLEF. He received Best Deputy HoD award from IQAC-KLEF in 2018. His areas of research interests include renewable energy sources, power quality, microgrids, electric vehicles. He has published 31 technical articles in National, International Journals and conferences, among 22 are indexed in Scopus and five are in web of science. He has received Young Achiever Award for the year 2017 from M T Research and Educational Services, New Delhi and Best Young Researcher National Award for the year 2018 from IRDP International Symposium on Education Excellence and Award Ceremony, Chennai. He has guided 13 M.Tech and 24 B.Tech projects. He has published five patents at Indian Patents Office. He is a Lifetime Member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Member of the International Society for Research and Development (ISRD), Member of the Asian Society for Researchers.
