Dr.A. PANDIAN (SMIEEE, M.IEI, LMISTE) receivedthe B.E. degree from the Department of Electricaland Electronics Engineering, Bharathiar University,Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in 1999, theM.E. degree in Electrical Machines from theP.S.G. College of Technology, Coimbatore,in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree from Anna University,Chennai, in 2015.

He has 21 years of teaching experience in the different cadres as departmenthead, research and development activities, and administrative work. He haspublished more than 50journals &conference papers in reputed international and national journals like IEEE, Elsevier, etc.,indexed inSCIE,Scopus Indexed Journal, and International IEEE, Springer, etc., conferences. He has alsopresented several papers at international conferences and served as session chair, technical committee member, and programm committee member. He has published three patentsin IPR, and a few are under consideration for submission. He is guiding many research scholars in the EEE department; one was successfully awarded his degree, three are under consideration for submission, and five arepursuing research under his guidance.

He received many Research Excellence Awardsand Best Teacher Awards from the Indian Book of Records, KLEF, and otherreputable public & private organizations. He has organized and participated in many international and national-level technical events like conferences, FDPs, seminars, workshops, etc.His current research interests include power converters, smart grids,EV technology, electrical drives, and optimization. He is acting asEditorial Board/Reviewer, IEEE TRANSACTIONS, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Sage, and many reputed journal publishers.
