Student Achievements

KL Deemed to be University is proud of the outstanding achievement of its student, K Tilak, Regd. No:2100079041 from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, at the prestigious India Skills 2024 competition. The event, held from May 15th to 19th at the Yashobhoomi (IICC) in New Delhi, is the largest bi-annual skill competition in India, organized by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

K Tilak represented Andhra Pradesh in the Additive Manufacturing trade and was awarded the Medallion for Excellence for his exceptional performance. This award is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and skill. Among 12 participants in the trade, Tilak was one of three who received this distinguished recognition.

The journey to this prestigious stage involved clearing a pre-screening assessment, followed by pre-state and state-level competitions conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC). Tilak’s consistent efforts and academic preparation, particularly in courses like Reverse Engineering and Rapid Prototyping, along with his global certification in Fusion 360, played a significant role in his success.
