Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at K L Deemed to be University. Our department strives to provide a robust curriculum, cutting-edge research opportunities and industry-relevant skills to prepare our students for successful careers in mechanical engineering. We encourage active participation in technical projects, workshops and seminars to enhance practical knowledge and professional growth.

HOD Profile

Dr. T.Vijaya Kumar is an academician and researcher specializing in Nanomaterials with over 23 years of teaching and research experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engg. (K L Deemed to be University, 2020), M.Tech in Materials Science and Technology (NIT Calicut, 2003), and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (2000). His doctoral research focused on the experimental investigations on nanocomposites at elevated temperatures.
